St John's Hire


Throughout the year we are pleased to host a number of concerts, exhibitions and events.

Hire of St John's for concerts or large events. (25% Reduction for registered charities)

  • £45.00 per hour
  • Heating: £6 per hour
  • Small Fund Raising Events or Displays - £50 per day
  • Use of Meeting Room - £15 per hour 
  • Exhibitions - £20 per day (an additional charge for heating will be applied in the winter months)
  • There is a single charge of £25.00 per day for using the Kitchen and or the Servery Area.
  • If you require stewards for your event, this is available at a charge of £10 per hour.
  • The use of the church organ requires the prior agreement of our Director of Music, and a fee of £50.00 will apply.
  • The Steinway Grand Piano located in St John’s is the property of the Vivacity, and requires prior agreement between the church and the City Council. The cost of tuning is additional. There is also a Blüthner piano available to use which belongs to the church.

St Luke's Hire

St Luke's is available for hire to small groups, of up to 30 people, during the day and some evenings at a cost of £18 per hour.









There is available to hirers a Kitchen, equipped for Tea & Coffee making, and serving of light refreshments. Disabled Toilet. Tables and Flexible Seating. Flipchart and Whiteboard & Free Car Parking. (Please note the car parking is shared with St John's Hall, which occupies the same site.)
